Oil rebounded on a bullish read of a meeting between Saudi Arabia’s King Salman and  Putin. “What we are seeing is Saudi Arabia and Russia singing from the same song sheet, both countries praising the producer supply restraint as a means of stabilizing the market and touting the possibility of extending the supply cuts beyond March 2018,” Harry Tchilinguirian, head of commodity markets strategy at BNP Paribas, said.

The pound fell to a one-month low on a number of concerns, not the least of which is that Theresa May “may” have met her political Waterloo with Wednesday’s disaster of a speech:

  1. I’m going to have to agree with kevin muir here…, we’re at the top. The world won’t know it until the “black swan” that is China capitulates. The National Congress will solidify Xi Jingping following October. Anything is game after that.
