  1. Idiocy! for sure. Plus the U.S. ‘SCREWED’ its most reliable Ally, Canada, by making Canada the meat in the U.S.-China trade sandwich, by asking Canada to detain and extradite Ms. Meng, Huawei’s founder and CEO’s daughter, the Huawei CFO.

  2. I believe the answer to the question about the timing of the indictment is that the US had to formally present its case to Canada by Jan 30 for the extradition process to move forward – maybe simple as that.
