Dennis Ketterer, 350lb Weatherman, Says Kavanaugh Accuser Swetnick Tried To Talk Him Into Group Sex

Earlier on Tuesday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell told reporters the following about the ongoing FBI probe into Brett Kavanaugh:

We’ll get an FBI report soon, it will be made available to each senator and only senators will be able to look at it. We’ll be voting this week.

Got that? The FBI report will not be available to the public and Republicans are going to try to cram Kavanaugh through this week.

That is laughable. There are serious questions as to whether the probe is being stymied by the White House and as one source told Bloomberg on Tuesday, the FBI “isn’t doing its own deep dive into his alcohol use or whether he committed perjury when he testified last week.”

To be clear, it is now all but certain he committed perjury last week. He lied about the extent of his drinking and he blatantly mischaracterized references in his yearbook when pressed by Sheldon Whitehouse.

On Tuesday, America learned that Kavanaugh and his close associates may have known about the Deborah Ramirez allegations months in advance and according to text messages, attempted to compel at least one former friend to publicly rebuke Ramirez’s account, which formed the basis for the bombshell article that appeared in The New Yorker on September 23.

For his part, John Cornyn (the No. 2 Republican in chamber), says the public should at least get to see a summarized version of  the FBI probe and Democrats will doubtlessly be furious if the results of the investigation are kept secret from voters.

One person who hasn’t been contacted by the FBI (or at least not through Tuesday afternoon), is Michael Avenatti client Julie Swetnick, who claims Kavanaugh helped Mark Judge and others get female partygoers intoxicated so they could be gang raped.

Well, on Tuesday afternoon, Republicans released a letter penned by someone called Dennis Ketterer, who describes himself as “a former weeknight meteorologist for Channel 7 in D.C. who won an EMMY in 1995.”

It’s hard to know what to make of this, but suffice to say it looks like the GOP is going to try and slut-shame Swetnick, who Ketterer claims approached him out of the clear blue sky at a bar 1993 when he, by his own admission, weighed 350lbs.

According to Ketterer, Swetnick would eventually tell him that she enjoyed group sex, a contention he says made him uncomfortable.

Again, I have absolutely no idea what to make of this, although ironically, I’d be inclined to just quote Kavanaugh himself: This is “from the Twilight Zone.”

You can read the full letter below, and one thing I would say in closing is that GOP Senators are apparently fine with releasing this to the public, but would prefer you not see the actual FBI report into Kavanaugh. Think on that.
