    Probably more apt to say jobs figure DESTROYS estimates. Not judging the importance of this figure in on direction or the other, merely stating that the job creation number is 50% higher than expected. A huge surprise to the upside. Interesting that wages were rising at 2.6% and participation rose as well leading to an INCREASE in unemployment rate. All in all, a feather in the cap of the “goldilocks” crowd.

    Interesting – the ADP estimate usually over-promises, not under. This kind of gap between ADP and BLS is unusual.

    Goldilocks…are these the same numbers that Pres Dennison used to say were faked?
