I don’t know if you’ve heard, but Jeff Gundlach is on Twitter.
On not only that, he’s got himself a Twitter nickname: “The Truth.”
So far, Jeff has clearly not hired a social media guru to help him learn the ropes and indeed, he had at least two meltdowns within his first week as a member of the Twitterverse:
- Jeff Gundlach Joined Twitter. And Then It All Went Horribly Wrong.
- Gundlach Has 2nd Twitter Meltdown: Blasts “Losers,” “Haters,” Calls Himself “The One”
Over the course of Jeff’s first two Twitter tantrums, the bond king racked up a Trump-ish tally of insults, unnecessary punctuation, and expressions of incredulity and exasperation. Here are the official numbers:
Rant 1
- 2 “fake news”s;
- 2 all-caps “FALSE”s;
- 1 all-caps “WRONG”;
- 9 exclamation points;
- 1 direct personal insult (Crise);
- 1 “incompetent” and;
- 1 derogatory “people”
Rant 2
- 1 “haters”
- 1 “fakers”
- 1 plain old “fake”
- 1 “sad”
- 2 “winners”
- 1 “losers”
- 1 “real deal”
- and 1 reference to himself as “the one, the only”
*******
Well on Tuesday, Gundlach posted what I’m sure he thought was a completely innocent observation. To wit:
Yes, “Go Bills!”
This is Twitter of course, which means that invariably, someone would troll him.
Sure enough, @Jimmyjude13 took him to task and not only did Jimmyjude call bullshit, he turned the tables on “The Truth” and called the tweet “fake news,” a contention he then justified by telling Gundlach that in reality, the only thing there is to do in Buffalo is “jerk off”:
Needless to say, that didn’t go over all that well with Gundlach who, not realizing he was being trolled, decided to “truth” Jimmy:
This matter has been settled.
Pal.
