  1. I certainly prefer sanctions such as these to military attacks so sought after by War Secretary Pompus, Senator Graham, and most neocon hawks. Military strikes universally rally the populace of the attacked country around their leaders. Economic sanctions draw ire against the imposing country, but it allows the populace to still distrust their own government, and allows the imposed upon government some behind the scenes options.
