‘We’re Not Stupid’: Top General Says He Would Not Let Trump Launch Illegal Nuke Strike
I don’t think the assurances I’ve received today will be satisfying to the American people. I think they can still realize that Donald Trump can launch nuclear codes just as easily as he can use his Twitter account, without the checks and balances of the United States Congress.
That's what Bob Corker said earlier this week following a congressional hearing on the President's authority to order a nuclear strike.

Until or Unless the GOP’ers decide to take action to remove trump or tie him up and stow him in the basement, we have to trust someone to watch over America. Trump is off that list permanently. Next in line has to be a General that will say NO to assface. Other people like Pence or Ryan or the likes are on the same list as trump.
My suggestion would be to have 3 Generals that must make the call and stand firm against trump.
So, what choice do we have? And once this loon is out of there, the rules need to be changed!
Wait till the press starts positing various hypothetical scenarios to different generals. The questions won’t get answers, so more people will keep asking and expanding.

The biggest problem is this: should there come a time where nuclear wepaons of any kind or size truly needs to be on the table and the judgment as to such use should be left to the president as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the fact that the word “judgment” and Trump are appropriate under such circumstances ought to scare the crap out of 7,000,000,000+ plus people.

btw, did anyone see the (I think it was Fox ) news snippet – Ivanka did some broadcast offering T-day advice on setting your table with easy to do centerpieces, many gathered from a forest or natural location. She had some dead wood and dried leaves and those little pumpkins in various colors – orange and cream – all set in the center and crystal stuff on table….comments tore her a new one! My favorite was “omg, even their pumpkins are white!” I laffed so hard I peed a little!
Sounds as though the old general wouldn’t mind launching a few “legal” nukes himself.
Trump, to his WH security detail: “Arrest that General, he is removed from command for disobeying my direct order.” Game over for the General(s).
Hopefully the General above is not as stupid as he says he isn’t – and brings a detail of Marines with him when he has tell Trump. “No.”
