  1. While I take your point, and I am certainly not a Trump supporter, we also can’t deny that quite a few media (left and right) reports have proven to be inaccurate and or exaggerated. As such, this DOJ PR is more like the gov. warning on plastic bags – not to put your head in them and seal all off air flow. Government agencies in general have always stated the absurdly obvious as part of their inherent CYA protocols. This one just might coincidentall (but contextually suspicious) sound a lot like a Trump “beware of fake news (any source not his perspective or serving his personal interests) sources. The real value of the DOJ PR to either the public, the DOJ, or Trump seems minuscule.
