Iran Swears It Busted Up CIA Spy Ring, Arrests 17 People, Will Kill A Few
Tehran is irritated.Â
Tehran is irritated.Â
“What’s going to get us to Dow 30,000″…
The farce is complete.
Mexico tried, and failed.
“The word TARIFF is a beautiful word indeed!”
All in all, it was a fittingly sour end to the second-worst May for US equities since the 1960s.
“On June 10th, the United States will impose a 5% Tariff on all goods coming into our Country from Mexico.”
Donald Trump is walking down a dangerous road – and he’s out of reliable guides.
A smorgasbord of fire and brimstone.
Let us count all the ways this could backfire.
This is what kind of day Bill Barr and Steve Mnuchin had…
But you know, it’s like Lincoln said, this is government “of the people, by the people, and fuck the people.”
Superman or gelatinous dessert? You decide.
“Don McGahn better hope like hell that Republicans hold onto the House and Senate, or”…
Gee Steve, what happened to having your “hands on your guns?” What happened to “loving a good gunfight”?Â
“Like we said, it’s fucking dangerous!”
“During a night of heavy drinking at an upscale London bar in May 2016, George Papadopoulos, a young foreign policy adviser to the Trump campaign, made a startling revelation to Australia’s top diplomat in Britain.”
Ok, so on Sunday evening we learned that Robert Mueller wants to know what the DoJ knows about the firing of James Comey.
And it just gets worse, and worse and…
“But a more careful look at Trump and Bush’s records shouldn’t elevate Bush; it should remind us that the two presidents have more in common than they care publicly to admit.”
Let’s just step back from the moral depravity for a second and think about this from a purely strategic perspective.
Yes, there’s a kinda, sorta deadline for this decision thanks to 10 states that have threatened to sue the government if it doesn’t stop protecting people brought into the country illegally as children. But obviously Trump isn’t obliged to heed that threat. He could take that risk in the interest of not igniting another racially-charged, political firestorm just weeks after he threw gasoline on the firestorm his bungled response to Charlottesville created by pardoning Joe Arpaio.Â
“The May letter had been met with opposition from Donald F. McGahn II, the White House counsel, who believed that some of its contents were problematic.”
Bannon can talk about “going to war” for Trump against Congress and the “globalist” elements in the White House all he wants, but the bottom line is that Steve already went to war – and he lost.
“Americans demand much subtler displays of racism from their elected officials.”
