One problem could however be…..What happens if the Fed buys a rally and skips the rate increase and the market interprets that scenario as a negative economic reality plus excess political interference and then sells off ?. A concerted effort to rally this market on Dovish expectations could well have been enhanced by self interested parties and we all could name a few..I have been suspicious of this entire scenario for several months ..
If the market understands the negative economic reality, as it should, then it requires relief.
