This assumes the Fed is going to sit still the next time TSHTF. Not a chance. They will use the play that worked last time, crankup the printing press and absorb the bonds to keep a lid on rates. Maybe they get away with it and maybe the awakening happens and folks figure out this thing is held together with duct tape. I dont know how that plays out, but I know the first move will be to expand the “theoretically limitless” Fed balance sheet.
