Mueller Subpoenas Deutsche For Trump’s Bank Records: Hubris, Karma And A Lifetime Of Disrepute

Let's be clear about something. This idea that karma always catches up to people who are shady is for the most part a lie. Karma is indeed "a bitch" when it comes calling, but it almost never does. Most people who are shady get away with it forever. That's just how the world works. The old adage "no good deed goes unpunished" is an implicit refutation of the notion that karma is the great equalizer when it comes to rewarding the virtuous and punishing iniquity. In most cases, it's not karma t

  1. My first thought is that Mueller hasn’t ever seemed to “go fishing;” that his investigations (that we know of) have later been shown to be him following some evidence trail that he previously established. It’s my unbridled hope that this move by Mueller is precisely more of the same, and that he went seeking the evidence for something specific that he already knew.

  2. Nice article. I mistakenly thought Trump’s presidential run a joke, until it wasn’t.. Thanks to a cooperating press Kennedy kept his scandals hidden, Clinton no so fortunate. Nixon got his due. Now we have the worst of them ,all eroding the dignity of the office ,with childish behavior , tweetstorming his way through his Presidency. Give him enough tweets and he will incriminate himself, keep the pressure on, because he is close to bursting that big brain of his.

  3. I lay the blame for Trump’s ascendancy to the POTUS squarely on Obama. He did nothing in the way of mentoring any number of moderate Democrats to succeed him, allowing Hillary, carrying more baggage than American Airlines, to secure the Dem nomination, therefore providing an opponent that even a rich, braggart, annoying TV personality could beat.

    1. I sincerely hope you are just trying to be funny. You sound ridiculous. You clearly have forgotten that Clinton did in fact have the majority of votes.

Even funnier with your trump adjectives – rich braggart annoying?? More appropriate would be corrupt, ignorant, vengeful, mean, hateful, racist, bigot, liar, insane, sexual pervert, stupid…just a few that are far more appropriate for him!

  4. So, finally, things are heading where – to any savvy and thoughtful person – they had to go: “Follow the Money”..

It is big Russian money (as Eric, or was it Don Jr., said it was about three years ago) behind this whole sad and dangerous saga.

More (as well as Moore), much more to come….

  5. Mueller is not on a fishing expedition, something brought him to this point and it was probably known since his team looked at the donald’s tax returns. These guys are seriously pissed off about now especially after being trashed by our “Liar in Chief” and will cut the donald’s crime syndicate absolutely no slack. Drip, drip, drip.
