‘Rocket Man’, ‘Sons Of B—-es’, And ‘Sacks Of Drugs’: Trump’s Alabama Rally In Videos

On Friday evening, Donald Trump gave a speech in Huntsville, Alabama that made his infamous Phoenix rally look tame by comparison.

Ostensibly, the Alabama event was held to shore up support for Luther Strange in Alabama’s Senate race (which is interesting because Steve Bannon’s Breitbart has been on a veritable quest to bolster the opposition choice, Roy Moore, an anti-establishment candidate who was removed from office twice, once when he was the state’s chief justice for refusing to comply with a court order demanding the removal of a monument to the Ten Commandments from the courthouse and another time for deciding not to go along with a US Supreme Court decision that legalized same-sex marriage).

And while Trump did manage to get in all kinds of completely ridiculous anecdotes about “big Luther,” the speech was a campaign-style romp during which the President donned his Mussolini face and launched into one of the most outrageous, rambling diatribes in Presidential history and as you’ll see below, there is nothing hyperbolic about that assessment.

There was “Rocket Man” (and do note that while it’s possible he meant Kim’s father, Trump doesn’t seem to understand that Kim would have been about 8 years old when President Clinton was in office):

There was Trump calling NFL players “sons of b*&%$@es”, a moment which, when slowed down, is absolutely hysterical:

There was Trump explaining (again) about the flyin’ sacks of drugs and why his border wall needs to be see-through:

And then there was Trump trying to explain why he took the first deal offered to him by Chuck and Nancy:

And it just went on, and on, and on, and….

Not to put too fine a point on it, but this man is out of his mind as you can clearly see from the clips above.

On the bright side for Trump, if these things get any more absurd, he’ll have a shot at putting SNL completely out of business. At a certain point, reality becomes so absurd that it eludes attempts to lampoon it. We’ve reached that point.

  1. “If you are depressed you are living in the past.
If you are anxious you are living in the future.
If you are at peace you are living in the present.”

  2. A See thru Wall!!? Really..Maybe we can combine it with a teflon slip and slide going from the US to Mexico and blast people out thru portals in this half witted concoction.

Trump is actually the perfect President for this time…he has, in only 9 months, demonstrated how clearly the United States has become divided into a nation of inbred, intolerant and shallow thinking tribes. Caught in between this divide (the simple minded Wall Builders and No. Korean Annihilators on one hand and the Arrogant..Self Congratulatory..Moral Masqueraders of the East and West Coasts on the other) are regular people with few, if any, pretensions, trying to figure out how to live from week to week.

Trump is opening up the great divide and that is good..we may finally see competent people step in who show real vision and leadership..they certainly WON’T be the Hillary Clintons or John McCains of the world.

    1. From what governance trained population would those “competent people” arise? Clearly, your avg. “successful” businessman, reality TV host “star”, and real estate con man – demonstrably does not have the necessary intellectual assets to govern effectively.

We not only have incompetent leadership at the WH and Congress – we now have an incompetent system of government incapable of policing the current corrupt and bent political establishment, but incapable of bringing forward those with sufficient experience to elect and replace them, successfully correct the current mess and create a future without the existing problems.

The current system is self-propagating, self-defending, and has a mass so great that it will not be overcome without a greater mass against it (the people are the only such mass) – if at all – or ever.

  3. “Not to put too fine a point on it, but this man is out of his mind as you can clearly see from the clips above.”

That our Congress doesn’t see this, are embarrassed and shamed by it – only makes them at best the enablers of the incompetent and mentally deficient Trump, and at worse less competent and more insane than Trump.

In either case logic would suggest that a complex nation like the US is currently in the midst of a catastrophic failure of national governance. Granted its a slow moving train wreck, but like most train wrecks – it’s better to be an observer than a passenger. Make sure you have a safe place to observe from.
