I am still in shock — cannot believe what I just saw and heard! He was beyond explanation of horrible! He is the most ignorant idiot to ever walk this earth. He simply must not be allowed to remain in office. I bet the secret service was on pins and needles with press yelling and him yelling back and calling out fake media to some of them – it seemed a physical confrontation was seconds away! Whatever progress he made over the weekend with his #2 speech has been completely eradicated – he clearly did not mean the words he said. He is right back to #1 speech, even stronger, blaming the “far left”, as he put it, for coming at the “group that had the permit”. The “ones without the permit started the fight”. He obviously gives the Nazi and KKK equal footing. Absolutely insane. He has to go! Already Duke has said Thank You Donald Trump. Congress has to impeach him!

  2. Personally I couldn’t care less about a statue to Robert E Lee…however, Trump did NOT justify white supremacists or Neo Nazis at the rally by pointing out Presidents that were slave holders. He clearly stated that there were others there that were not part of those groups and that their protest over Lee’s statue should be put in a larger context. Didn’t you listen??? If we start applying litmus tests to past historical figures we’ll be lucky if there are any statues in the country. That may actually be a good thing.

Are you telling me I didn’t listen… are you saying you defend what he said? And some nonsense about others that were there to defend a statue… and the KKK Nazi dudes marching in the street and chanting Jews will not replace me… blood and soil… our streets… and you think someone defending a concrete statue started this shit? You think trump has some point about historical figures and historical meaning? He cannot even read about those stupid statues and he does not know history. And you are defending him and some bullshit about defending a statue? Good Lord.

    • Greg,
The Unite the Right event was organized by Jason Kessler who invited Richard (hail Trump) Spencer to be the headliner for the event. Anybody going to a rally to see Richard Spencer should be classified, at the very least, as white nationalists.

  3. At some point we all have to accept the fact (as repulsing as it is) there would be no developed economies had it not been for the slave trade.
    It’s just a simple fact!
Non the less let’s just keep wringing our collective hands.
You will be hard pressed to find since the dawn of so called civilization any ethnic group of people that at one time were not some how inslaved!
It is just as true today, as the governments of the world through their bureaucracy are enslaving the productive working class of their respective sovereign nation with debt

    • Badger,
How does the Meiji Restoration and the industrialization of Japan fit with your thesis of developed economies?

    • Dan Gabella

      LET’S MAKE SLAVERY GREAT AGAIN!

      • You already are you just have not put it together yet

      • Badger,
Chattel slavery is a little different than forms of forced labor. There’s a great mini series titled “Roots” that you might want to watch.

    • Badger, are you seriously equating being required to pay taxes with being enslaved?

      • It’s right there, in the constitution! Before the amendments.
I pay taxes every day because it is the law, the money that I pay is paying the service on debt that my elected and unelected officials have said must be paid on funded as well as unfunded liability’s
        End of story!

  4. Damn, if you had taken in your Covfefe everything wouldbe fine.

  5. 24/7, Trump will suck the air out of the news cycle to keep everyone’s eye off the center ring: The Mueller criminal investigation into Trump and his family’s criminal activities for the past 20 years and beyond.

Nothing else scares him and his family more than previous and mortal threat that Mueller’s investigation poses to his ego, liberty and financial survival. It’s crystal clear. Trump will defend murderers, arsonists, rapists, neo-Nazis, a Russia dictator, a Philippine dictator, White Supremacists, KKK, the worst of the worst where he finds comfort, in his effort to take the world’s eyes off Mueller and place those eyes in another place. Any place.

Whatever the insane tweet, attacks on Kim and NK, a fight with Mitch McConnell, whomever he fires from the White House staff, there’s only that one thing that keep him up all night watching television: It’s the Mueller investigation.

With every day that passes, whatever controversial subject arises, that subject will ignite into a conflagration because Mueller’s investigation has entered his black heart, mind and neural system in such a way that he is incapable of controlling his behavior in a rational way.

He is inches away from channeling Edward G. Robinson, whipping out a Thompson sub-machine gun and running down Pennsylvania Avenue screaming, “I can kill anybody, I’m Donald J. Trump, President of the World United States.”

Yeah no coming back from this. He’s fucked. Honestly I don’t even get the impression he’s trying to defend the alt-right necessarily. I just think he’s trying not to take sides, but he’s too stupid to realize that’s exactly what you need to do in this situation.

Although, it just cracks me up how he repeatedly says he needs to “get the facts” and that he doesn’t make quick, inaccurate statements, when legit that’s what he does 80% of the time. I guess he was waiting to hear the truth from Breitbart before making an official comment? Lol, what an idiot.

    My bad, “correct statements”. Joke.

I think there is something in the “covfefe” that “Mein Fuhrer” is taking.

A great day for the Dullard-in-Chief. New York Times reports that, “Premiums for the most popular health insurance plans would shoot up 20 percent next year, and federal budget deficits would increase by $194 billion in the coming decade, if President Trump carried out his threat to end certain subsidies paid to insurance companies under the Affordable Care Act, the Congressional Budget Office said Tuesday.”

    * * *

“Try to wriggle out of his responsibilities as he might, the C.B.O. report makes clear that if President Trump refuses to make these payments, he will be responsible for American families paying more for less care,” the Senate Democratic leader, Chuck Schumer of New York, said. “He’s the president and the ball is in his court — American families await his action.”
