    History is indeed a Fickle thing. What you’re witnessing here with all of this anti status quo sentiment from around the globe is an actual reset of what American exceptionalism is all about.

    It’s going to be an exciting Adventure and, make hash of what you will, the world simply isn’t [currently] comfortable with changes happening at the rate that the Trump Administration is clearly pushing. That discomfort of course translates into to a gap or lack in confidence.

    All this is actually remarkable news and certainly more indicative of heading in the right direction than as suggested in this otherwise exceptional article.

    1. I think a metaphysical foundation for both American and exceptionalism is needed before one can throw out that vocabulary. Otherwise you are susceptible to being accused of positing an ultra nationalistic view, which is at best acrcaic.
