“Missing Was The Exclamation Mark”: Is It Time To Take Trump’s Tweets More Seriously?

When President Trump first tweeted his hint of “tapes,” he might have been just surrendering to his social media impulses. He did not have a lawyer at the time, or one he publicly admitted to having hired. Now a month later, the newest tweet, denying that he has tapes, comes when he is fully represented. Only days ago, a member of his new legal team, Jay Sekulow, told Chris Wallace of Fox News that he was entirely comfortable with the President’s twee
So, we have a King.
Trump found Sekulow on Fox News. Spend ten minutes on the internet reading about Jay Sekulow and most likely you will come away with thinking he is just perfect to represent Trump. Perfect. Peas in a Pod Perfect.

I’d bet several Permian oil wells that Trump was not the one to tweet that.
I take it you mean those are not his words…..hell no, they are not his words….someone wrote down what he was to tweet and there are several clues to show that to be most likely true. One, no words were misspelled, clearly someone wrote it out for him. Two, “electronic surveillance” would not be his phrasing….his would be “wire tapped” or “tapped my wires”. Three, he would not be able to spell ‘surveillance’. Four, “unmasking and illegal leaking”, again not his words. He would never use the word unmasking, period. “Illegal leaking” would be ‘a leaker’ in some format. And I will bet your Permian oil wells on that!
