  1. For some reason The Carpenter’s song “We’ve only just begun” came to mind as I read this piece.
    I miss the simpler chaos of those times.

    1. No sitting on Santa’s lap at Nordstrom this season.

      Stimulus juice into the economy in the states is months away. If Trump retains the White House and the Senate goes Democrat, we could see something earlier (and I’m not talking about impeachment proceedings). I’m not sure we will escape a double dip ourselves here in the US.

      We’re still early in the season and yet the human toll seems have already escalated beyond what reasonable people would have thought possible. Who is going to blow a few grand for the holidays this season?
