Rick Perry is a goddamn marvel. He’s a rare breed. A miracle of science rarely seen in the wild.
As you’re probably aware, Rick is a guy who never ceases to amaze when it comes to saying things that are so stupid as to make you question how he makes it through an entire day without landing himself in the Darwin Awards.
Well on Thursday, Rick upstaged himself yet again when it comes to unfathomable stupidity when, in a discussion about energy policy with “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd and Axios CEO and founder Jim VandeHei, Perry expounded on the benefits of fossil fuels as follows:

— NBC News (@NBCNews) November 2, 2017
Got that? Fossil fuels not only allow people to read without choking to death on deadly candle fumes, but they also prevent sexual assault because no one ever gets raped in the dark.
Now if only America was a country that had electric lights, we wouldn’t be having all of these discussions about sexual assault.
Thankfully, Rick Perry is working on that as Energy Secretary.
He was and still is a complete embarrassment to us in the State of Texas. And he was a fool before he made his appearance on Dancing with the Stars. OMG.
“Those of you that will be 21 by November the 12th, I ask for your support and your vote.” –Rick Perry, flubbing the voting age (which has been 18 since 1971), as well as date of the Nov. 6 election
“You can always follow me on Tweeter.” —Rick Perry, mistakenly referring to the social networking site Twitter in a videotaped message to a crowd of conservative bloggers and social networkers, Minneapolis, June 21, 2011
“Juarez is reported to be the most dangerous city in America.” —Rick Perry, referring to a city that is across the Texas border in Mexico, February 28, 2011
“From time to time there are going to be things that occur that are acts of God that cannot be prevented.” –Rick Perry, on the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, in 2010

quote “George W. Bush did a incredible job in the presidency, defending us from freedom.”
Actually I’m going to have to agree with him on that one, he did do an incredible job of protecting Americans from freedom. I would also add Obama deserves extra points for getting so many supposed liberals to go along with continuing that protection. Admittedly it was a job America didn’t need done but they did do it extremely well. All in all i would have to give more style points to Obama, he made it look so easy. The mark of a true professional.
No small part of why i supported the clown. To explain him all you have to do is point and laugh.
Go Trumpo Go Trumpo
Robert, your posted comment is a real puzzle and I am not sure what you mean in almost every sentence. I’ve read it 3 times and still most of it makes no sense to me.
Let me be clear. I think George Bush, the shrub, is a good man who should not have been president, Bless his Heart. I voted for Obama and wish he was still the president. A man of principles and smart and great family values. I trust him. Trumpo is a corrupt asshole and should not be the president – what a farce the whole election was.
I bet none of those comments are a puzzle. You want to try again?
