Tuesday Humor: Trump Photoshops His Own Tweet Into Twitter Banner Pic

If you’re a political scientist, there’s not a whole lot to like about a Donald Trump presidency.

In addition to the fact that everything he does and says screams “incompetent” and in addition to the prima facie absurdity of having a reality TV show host in the Oval Office, the “insult to injury” part of the equation for academics comes in when you consider that Steve Bannon is a Nassim Taleb disciple, which means political scientists are seen as “pseudo-experts” – or, more simply, “idiots.”

That said, if you’re in the business of publishing content and making people laugh, Trump is a veritable godsend. The jokes write themselves.

So here at HR, we’ll take the good with the bad.

On Monday, in the latest example of how you need only Google “Trump” to find something worth lampooning, the President decided it was a good idea to make his Twitter account into more of a standing joke than it already is by literally Photoshopping one of his own tweets into his banner image.

No, really…

Here’s the original tweet:

Regardless of your opinion on the testimony we’ve gotten this week, that is so overtly ridiculous that one struggles to make it any funnier than it already is.

Because you know he didn’t do that himself. That is, there’s no way Donald Trump opened up his laptop and created a new banner image for his Twitter account. Which, by definition, means he actually took time away from being the leader of the free world to instruct someone else to do it.

Needless to say, Twitter itself was amused.

It’s since been removed.

  1. Trump’s( leader of the freeworld’s most gullible and uninformed) statement is both as meaningless as it is typically and purposefully misleading – because he omitted one word – “yet.” There is no evidence made public – “yet” by the various multiple Federal Intelligence agencies currently investigating Trump and his administration and the perversions of its election. That we have multiple Federal agencies investigating this President from the outset of his election and administration, is a indictment in itself of his moral character and credibility as a professional leader.

  2. this tool is a fool……. if I close my eyes and wish really hard, the image I see is him in handcuffs being led out of the WH with a cheering crowd (he will really like that part!) and being convicted of Treason. What is the punishment for Treason in the United States of America?
