Certainly seems like given the current elevated levels of policy uncertainty (as measured by the Economic Policy Uncertainty Index), the market’s fear gauge should be well above an 11 handle.

  1. This is not a disparaging, but a constructive remark. Considering and for the sake of your new viewers, you should consider not using your white on black reverse Heisenberg logo image – as on the top chart. It looks far too much like a pig in a hat and glasses.

    As usual your catch and comparison between economic and market perception contradictions of relative certainty – is excellent.
