Hard to say that Mnuchin has a single tell, but his panicked response to the question “Is the national security team a mess?” tells you everything you need to know about whose head he thinks is on the block.
“Let me just say, the national security team consists of… the… national security adviser, the secretary of defense, the secretary of state, myself and many others”, Mnuchin stammered.
Apparently, it’s not worth investing the time to learn their names.
