Larry Kudlow Says Companies Are Lying To Shareholders About Tariffs – Will He Tell The SEC? HAHA Of Course Not!
Larry Kudlow has been sucked into Donald Trump's event horizon and, like everyone else who ventures into the President's orbit, has become afflicted with the same cognitive incapacity as Trump himself.
Late last month, Kudlow lied on national television when he told Maria Bartiromo (another CNBC veteran-turned Trump sycophant) that the deficit is "coming down and it’s coming down rapidly.â€
That is a demonstrable, bald-faced lie. Period. Everyone know
So Kudlow is indeed a man of contradictions
-He keeps quiet as his CEO cronies sell off their own companies’ shares, as they announce “pump the stock” repurchases to the unwitting general public. Not a word about this. CEOs are exploiting share repurchasing.
-He does not support the prudent policy decisions that the Fed is making in regards to attempting to normalize interest rates. (We Still aren’t close to breakeven rates, and real FFR rates are still negative!)
-He now feels it imperative to announce on national media that CEOs are overstating the impact that MAGA induced tariffs are having on earnings and earnings forecasts
Kudlow aligns his policy opinions to his own self interest and nothing else.
