It’s 7:00 a.m. ET, do you know where your President is?
In America we know where ours is – he’s in his bedroom “studying documents” or watching Fox & Friends and binge tweeting whatever they implicitly ask him to tweet which they’ll then report in an endless, self-referential echo chamber that reinforces and validates itself on an hourly basis, brainwashing gullible Americans in the process.
Monday saw one of the most egregious examples of Trump binge tweeting in the short history of his presidency and although there were other factors at play, it is entirely fair to say that his tweets were one of the main contributors to Monday’s carnage on Wall Street where stocks got off to their worst start to a Q2 in 89 years.
Well having learned absolutely nothing from that, Trump is at it again on Tuesday morning and the first thing he did was take aim at the Sinclair broadcasting fiasco:
The Fake News Networks, those that knowingly have a sick and biased AGENDA, are worried about the competition and quality of Sinclair Broadcast. The “Fakers” at CNN, NBC, ABC & CBS have done so much dishonest reporting that they should only be allowed to get awards for fiction!

Anyway, that’s another story, but as noted, Trump is not at all comfortable with it.
Next up was the “caravan” issue again:
The big Caravan of People from Honduras, now coming across Mexico and heading to our “Weak Laws” Border, had better be stopped before it gets there. Cash cow NAFTA is in play, as is foreign aid to Honduras and the countries that allow this to happen. Congress MUST ACT NOW!

As we mentioned on Monday morning, this is absolutely hilarious, but not because of the plight of the migrants – that’s just sad. But rather because of how furious Trump is and how powerless he is to stop it.
Basically, a large group of Central Americans who have decided it’s safer to travel together to avoid being robbed, extorted, etc. are making their way north to the U.S. to seek asylum. There are roughly 1,000 of them and Mexico isn’t particularly interested in trying to stop them.
Again, there are a ton of reasons why that’s not funny (the migrants are fleeing crime in Honduras), but if you want to find some humor in an otherwise desperate situation, just try to imagine Trump shouting at the TV about Mexico not only refusing to pay for his border wall, but also refusing to do anything to stop 1,000 Central Americans from reaching the U.S. border.
It’s hilarious and also fantastic because you have to know he’s terrified of what his supporters will think when pictures of 1,000 Hondurans figuratively knocking on America’s door start showing up on the evening news.
Having thus threatened to cut off funding and rip up NAFTA again pending the detention of 1,500 migrants by Mexican authorities, he got back to focusing on the “enemy” of the American people: the free press.
Check out the fact that you can’t get a job at ratings challenged @CNN unless you state that you are totally anti-Trump? Little Jeff Zuker, whose job is in jeopardy, is not having much fun lately. They should clean up and strengthen CNN and get back to honest reporting!

And what would “honest” reporting look like? What you see in the videos above maybe? Is that honest? Because it sounds like something right out of authoritarian hell to me.
Finally, he bragged about a Rasmussen poll again on the way to decrying “cheatin’ Obama”. Just to be clear, bragging about a Rasmussen poll is about like bragging about some positive coverage you got on Fox News.
Thank you to Rasmussen for the honest polling. Just hit 50%, which is higher than Cheatin’ Obama at the same time in his Administration.
