  1. As in anything else, one has to look at junk as a market of bonds and not a bond market. Quality management, whether self-managed or via a proven fee manager, swings the risk/reward formula in one’s favor. Stuff like HYG and JUNK – not so much, but definitely useful as hedging vehicles, so they have a purpose.
