Ok, so Donald Trump is on the tape on Wednesday afternoon and as you know, he’s already tried to politicize Tuesday’s terror attack in New York.
I’m not evening going to dignify his tweets here because they’re disgusting and on top of being disgusting, they mark a stark (if predictable) contrast with his response to the mass shooting in Las Vegas. Suffice to say he’s using the terror attack to rekindle his push for draconian immigration “reform” and he also seems to be using this as a rather convenient distraction from the Mueller indictments.
Meanwhile, he’s now floating trial balloons about somehow tying Obamacare to tax reform and again, I’m not going to dignify the tweets because they represent the worst kind of bullshit imaginable and they once again show that his entire presidency has devolved into a spiteful effort to undo everything his predecessor accomplished with no regard whatsoever for who may be adversely affected.
So while I’m not going to post those tweets, what I will do is give you a rundown of the bullet points from the cabinet meeting he held this afternoon. And the reason I’m doing this is certainly not because I want to or because any of this should be taken any semblance of serious, but rather because the sheer number of topics he covered puts us in a position where we’d be remiss not to recount it. So here they are:

I don’t think I need to say this, but this man is all over the damn place. He has no idea what he’s talking about, he’s flying completely by the seat of his pants on quite literally everything, and he’s still (10 months and counting into his presidency) in full-on campaign mode.
That string of nonsense is a mix of nebulous promises, lies, superlatives, insults, and fear-mongering, which shouldn’t surprise you because again, that’s exactly the platform he campaigned on and he never transitioned from candidate Trump to President Trump.
If you can come up with a coherent message from all of the above we’d love to hear it.

The bar is now set so low that I’d be rather impressed with anyone but Powell or Kashkari. Even freakin Yellen wouldn’t be as bad because Yellen should do slightly better in a financial crisis, the one that she recently said won’t happen in our lifetime.
Misdirect once, misdirected, missed the boat and doesn’t remember how Bobby Three Sticks is gonna be driving the steamroller with the still SEALED indictments.

One of the current political strategies for candidates – like this one repeatedly mouthed by Trump is to provide a long list of what most us at least agree in part, or total – are major problems the country needs to solve – though we may not agree on their priorities. So great we have something to agree on. Now where are the fucking solutions? This is what Republicans and Democrats have failed – and continue to fail at providing – real workable and economic solutions to a long list of national problems – many of which we’ve known for decades.
Building a wall is the poster child for the caliber of Trump solutions. It speaks volumes to the fact that Trump has no realistic solutions coming out his administration to anything -other than making money for himself and his friends. Yes, the problems he lists are real and most are very tough to resolve – fairly and economically. But hey, they are a lot tougher to solve without pissing off Trump’s Republican major campaign donors.
I note that demonetizing the election/campaign industry is not on Trump’s list of problems and for obvious self serving reasons. That’s because if campaign spending was very limited and or required to be equal among candidates – Trump would not be President. Hillary probably wouldn’t be either. We would probably be forced to elect someone based solely on their actual independent third party verified qualifications. Of course, this would also kill the political media industry – which apparently would destroy a significant part of the current employment numbers.
The smart thing about floating #TaylorRules & #NeelCash&Carry is that even Powell sounds good in comparison…
