H- Man that was excellent, thanks so much.
all Ben Hunt.
good guy, great writer.
Excellent, but I would add only one twist as and observation borrowed from one of the finest horseman that has ever lived – and still lives – Monte Roberts. “There is no teaching, only learning.” As educators, we do not teach, we facilitate learning.
Excellent.
Thanks H.
My goodness great read. He’s nearly convinced me to home school my kids one day.
Home schooling…..good points and bad points….as in all things. Most kids have become “Disneyfied” & “Kardashifried”to distraction. My friend teaches at an inner city public school, I cannot enumerate the constant problems he faces, most of those kids are so disadvantaged, but his single most poignant observation, lack of parental involvement.
My single point; can home schooling compensate for the knowledge gained from multiple social interactions in an integrated public environment.? Is the insular effect of the home environment overly protective?
