Trump Says Glad To Be Rid Of CEOs Who ‘Grandstanded’ Against Nazis

Remember this?…

Right.

Well, Trump is back with the “grandstander” accusations.

Apparently, it’s now “grandstanding” to “stand” against the KKK and neo-Nazis, because after three CEOs quit his manufacturing council in response to the President’s failure to immediately condemn white supremacists, Trump has decided the best response is to tweet shame them:

Grand

Not to put too fine a point on it, but Trump either doesn’t understand what he did wrong on Saturday, doesn’t care, or more likely, a little bit of both.

Because he has just accused the CEOs of Merck, Under Armour, and Intel of “grandstanding” because they stood up against the Klan and Nazis.

The level of ignorance here is simply astonishing, but even if we leave that aside, he is quite literally shooting himself in the foot about once every couple of tweets.

You’re reminded that this comes just hours after he retweeed (and then deleted) a picture of train running over a person, completely oblivious (until someone tapped him on the shoulder) of how tasteless that was given what happened in Charlottesville:

Train

Oh, and of course….

“JOOOOOBBBSS!”

“MOOOOORRREE”
