Scaramucci Fired After 10 Days

Developing….

That went swimmingly.

Just – what? – a little over a week into the job, Anthony Scaramucci is well, out of one:

  • TRUMP REMOVES SCARAMUCCI FROM COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR JOB: NYT
  • WHITE HOUSE CONFIRMS SCARAMUCCI OUT AS COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR

This apparently came at the behest of John Kelly, which is ironic, because Kelly replaced Priebus, the “fucking paranoid schizophrenic.”

So “The Mooch” got rid of one Chief of Staff only to be promptly ousted by his successor. There was no immediate word on whether “Mooch” thinks Kelly is a “cocksucker.”

Here’s the NY Times with the sparse (so far) details:

Mr. Scaramucci’s abrupt removal came just 10 days after the wealthy New York financier was brought on to the West Wing staff, a move that convulsed an already chaotic White House and led to the departures of Sean Spicer, the former press secretary, and Reince Priebus, the president’s first chief of staff.

The decision to remove Mr. Scaramucci, who had boasted about reporting directly to the president not the chief of staff, John F. Kelly, came at Mr. Kelly’s request, the people said. Mr. Kelly made clear to members of the White House staff at a meeting Monday morning that he is in charge.

It was not clear whether Mr. Scaramucci will remain employed at the White House in another position or will leave altogether.

Ultimately then, it seems like everyone decided that a communications director needs to understand why it isn’t a good idea to call The New Yorker and have a complete, profanity-laced meltdown.

Meanwhile, the spread between Trump’s unfavorable and favorable ratings has only been higher once this year:

In short: this administration is completely off the rails.

So much for “mini-me”…

  1. Well that was quick — and it only cost him his marriage.
Remember, Donnie only hires the best, brightest, most talented people to serve in his administration.

  2. Your article on the “elimination” of Anthony Scaramucci was like a fine wine – a premium vintage. Full bodied with a sweet mingle of irony and humor – while maintaining a refreshing finish.

That said, it was my understanding that once you allowed the “hidden hand” into your organization (Trump Administration) that there was no getting rid of them. So, I would be surprised if Scar (amucci) Face didn’t find a darkened and hidden niche in the WH for the duration “lika soma cocka-roacha” (as per movie “Godfather” speak – and apologies to my Italian ancestors) – be it another 10 minutes – or three and half years.

Apparently, Donald is running low on quality rich and wealthy friends for his growing attrition of appointees. Now let’s see how long Kelly last after one-upping the Donald’s hiring decisions.

  3. Scaramucci is a profane loser. I am going to miss him as a symbol of the real Trump.

I hope all of those high-minded evangelicals are proud of what they put in the White House. When will they realize that they made a deal with the devil? Never… The evangelicals wouldn’t recognize the devil if he appeared with a red tail and horns, and poured brimstone on their heads.

  4. “Trump and the Mooch” the new reality show on Fox was cancelled today just 10 days into it’s historic run. CAT reports that the Mooch was used to suck-up (pun intended) news cycles to keep “The Prez” away from real reporting on the continuing Russia probe (pun intended). The story continues……………..
