Trump Replaces National Anthem With ‘Make America Great Again’ Song – Seriously
There are a lot of songs you could play on July 4 if you're an American.
Like maybe "Born In The USA."
Or "This Land Is Your Land."
Or, you know, the national fucking anthem.
But if you're Donald Trump, you'd rather go with "Make America Great Again," a song which has been around for all of 72-ish hours.
This jingoistic ballad to American exceptionalism made its debut on Saturday when the choir from the First Baptist Church in Dallas performed what amounts to an ode to Trump at the "Cel

Hm, why does the song sound familiar? Especially its finale.
This sounds a lot like Christian contemporary music – take one part bland, forgettable rhythm and combine with lyrics cribbed from Trump’s top ten Google searches and voila! You have a terrible song.
Also, as awful as it was to listen to, someone had to write this. Just think about that.
We’re winning so much nowadays, the country should probably be renamed the People’s Trumpish Republic of America, acronym MAGA for short.

“the choir from the First Baptist Church in Dallas” — my thoughts on who.what.where.why. Can anyone please explain to me why this church or any church for that matter, not only supports but also sings a praise to this lowlife pervert? He lies constantly, about anything. He treats people with such disrespect. He has a history for years of multiple charges of sexual assaults. He has admitted to aggressive sexual advances on women. He does not pay all his bills and especially takes advantage of people who cannot afford to fight him in court. He is a well known Bully. He uses curse words fluently. He shows no respect for acceptable rules of society. He gleefully uses people to his advantage. He has had multiple marriages – with one of his ex-wives having charged him with rape but later she recanted and explained it was not rape as defined under law (so let’s just call it brutal forced sex with his wife). Trump has filed six bankruptcies on several of his former companies/casinos and left many people unpaid. He dodged a military draft at least twice due to a foot boo boo. Just fill in anything I may have left off…..
And a Preacher writes the words of a song for him, a church choir sings it proudly: “the First Baptist Church in Dallas performed what amounts to an ode to Trump at the “Celebrate Freedom Rally.” WHY?

One hesitates to offer the obvious explanation as to why the leaders of such an institution might see a kindred spirit in a transparently self-interested, dishonest, sexually promiscuous, financially dodgy con artist.
