Ok, so this was a weird day for Vice President, soap opera villain, and human-Mayonnaise hybrid, Mike Pence.
I mean, let’s be clear: every day is a weird day for Mike Pence because i) he’s Mike Pence, and ii) he’s Donald Trump’s Vice President. But this day was even weirder than usual.
Things started out innocently enough as he and Karen (“mother“) were on hand to honor Peyton Manning at the Colts/ 49ers game.
Of course just attending an NFL game when you’re in the Trump administration is a recipe for controversy because it puts you in the decidedly precarious position of having to pack up and leave if anyone kneels during the national anthem or else risk Trump tweeting about later.
Sure enough…
Unwilling to risk the ire of Trump (“father”?), Pence took “mother” and left.
He immediately announced his departure on Twitter, presumably to make sure there was a timestamp to prove that he didn’t stick around in case Trump asked:
In order to remove any doubt, he did two things next. First, he tweeted an “official” statement (itself absurd because you know, you already tweeted it from the official @VP account, why did you need a statement?):
And then, just to make sure, he changed the banner image on his Twitter account to a picture of him standing up for the anthem:
Now I’m reasonably sure he thought he was going to get some kind of pat on the back for this from Trump, but Trump being Trump, he didn’t even let Pence take credit for leaving the game on his own volition. Instead, the President tweeted this to let the world know that in fact he told Mike to leave:

In case this needed to get any more absurd, a couple of people went back and checked on a picture Pence tweeted before leaving. Specifically this one (note the date):
Granted, Mike Pence has always looked that way (even as a child), but I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that is highly unlikely that he managed to seat himself in front of the same two women and the same two men dressed in the same clothes and playing with the same smart phones as they were in 2014, which means that the picture you see above is actually not from today, but rather represents Pence retweeting an old picture and trying to pass it off as new. Here, look:
Maybe he thought adjusting the contrast would fool everyone, although I’m not sure why because the picture he also tweeted of himself standing up for the anthem shows him dressed in a suit.
Remember folks, this is the person who becomes President if Trump is impeached or goes to prison.
He’s a chicken shit — I gave up on him a looooong time ago. First, his weird marriage crap. c’mon! Second, when he made it clear he would kiss trump’s ass no matter what he did or said. Third, when he lied about the whole Flynn mess. Fourth, his weird marriage crap. Ok, I know it was already listed but it is not normal and extremely strange! And for him to pretend to respect and obey trump is ridiculous! He knows all about the pussy grabbing liar, his prior two marriages, a charge for domestic abuse (that she apparently waived once the check cleared the bank), trump’s disrespect for women and the names he calls them and how he “grades” them…enough…clearly he is also a fake Christian man and fits well with the president — they both must be removed from office! Trump must go NOW and this freak will go soon after, when all his secrets are exposed.
Wait a minute! The date on the fake picture is “12:27 am 9 Oct 2017”. Unless Mikey-boy was in Hong Kong, the picture was an attempt at “back to the future” role-play. This is such a ridiculous tweet that I think Trump himself posted the fake picture.
Shit! This level of stupidity in the two highest offices of the United States is really starting to scare me, All empires end up fading away, but I’m convinced the American empire is in the process of DYING OF EMBARRASSMENT!
There’s a bit of cognitive dissonance going on since the 2016 election.
Never before have we had Certifiable Low-Lifes occupy the offices of President AND the Vice President of the United States. Both are petty, ignorant and self absorbed beyond acceptable range. Some might argue that Bush-Cheney also occupied this space, but there’s little doubt that Trump-Pence, in less than nine moths, have reached far lower in the Low-Life category then Bush-Cheney, and are inherently more petty, ignorant and self absorbed than Bush-Cheney. However, I must hand it to the Republicans for having managed to give the country in the first 17 years of the 21 century, two of the three presidencies which have reached such insurmountable lows as Trump-Pence-Bush-Cheney.
