Matt Drudge Tweets Picture Of 6-Year-Old Billboard, Traffic Camera – Says Communist Takeover Imminent

Speaking of fake news that lawmakers need to investigate, Matt Drudge has been on what, for him, counts as a Twitter binge and this morning he thinks maybe there’s a communist takeover afoot. 

Have a look at this he just posted:

That’s right America: there’s a Xinhua billboard in Manhattan and this is definitely something that no one was aware of until Matt posted it. It’s also brand new where “brand new” means it was leased more than six years ago.

That said, it’s not clear how long that “communistic surveillance cam” – which is either, as Drudge says, a tool for monitoring the “unwashed masses” or else just a goddamn traffic camera – has been in place.

One thing worth noting here is that the “fake news” beat ol’ Matt to the punch on this one – because The New York Times itself flagged this “disturbing” spread of Chinese influence more than a year ago.
