Trump Wakes Up, Insists He’s Not Insane, Says He’s ‘Like, Very Stable Genius’

Well, it looks like Donald Trump has finally decided to address the “rumors” that he’s stark raving mad.

The President has generally avoided this issue because after all, denying allegations of collusion or insisting you’re not a habitual pussy grabber is easy compared to the rather uncomfortable proposition of trying to disabuse the public of the notion that every, single one of your top aides has, in one way or another, called you a retarded chimpanzee at some point in the last 12 months.

Of course it doesn’t help when you blast out unhinged tweets at all hours of the day that sound like they were written by a 10-year-old and neither does it help when you say things on television like “I have a really good brain.”

Well thanks in no small part to the steady stream of leaked excerpts from Michael Wolff’s new book, “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House”, the President is playing defense in an effort to play down the notion that, as Wolff put it, “100% Of Trump’s Inner Circle Question His Fitness For Office.”

And so, on Saturday morning, Trump took to Twitter to explain how he’s “like, really smart.

Brain

Got that? Throughout his life, Trump has been “like, really smart.” And you can tell because he won the presidency “on his first try.”

In fact, he’s a “genius.” And a “stable genius at that.”

Because what does a “stable genius” do at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday morning? Why, tweet about being a genius. Naturally.

  1. Well, I think that settles it. You guys in the lamestream media are wrong about Trump having a bad brain just like you were about Reagan, whose Alzheimer’s was, like, totally fake news. Also, his short Presidential run in 2000 doesn’t count because, like, everyone knows that the Donald gets to take as many mulligans as he likes and campaigns that last less than six months don’t count.

Don’t worry folks, we have a very stable genius manning the biggest, hardest, and most powerful, nuclear button in the world. What could possibly go wrong?
