So basically the government is funded through Sept 30th but given that Congress has no reason to pass a budget, little will to do so and frankly no real ideas on what to accomplish… it’s going to just kick the can to Trump. Trump then has no reason to not shutdown the government and blame Congress. So come Oct 1 we will have a Congress responsible to develop a budget but one that will in all likelihood lack any real potential to do so. How long does the government go dark… I would almost not be surprised for them to be shutdown until after the 2018 midterms.
