‘Liz Warren: Obama, Trump, Washington Are “Blind,” Americans Are “Getting Kicked In The Teeth”

As we’re fond of reminding readers (both conservative and liberal), Elizabeth Warren keeps it real.

More colloquially: ‘Liz keeps it 100% in these streetz.

Which means no one is immune to criticism. Not even Barack Obama, who Warren criticized last week for accepting a controversial $400,000 speaking fee from Wall Street firm and bucket shop that no one takes seriously, Cantor Fitzgerald.

You’ll recall that in the same interview, Warren hilariously lampooned Bill O’Reilly upon learning that her new book bumped the (former) Fox News star from the top of the bestseller list.

Well goddammit ‘Liz ain’t done.

In a new interview with The Guardian published on Monday, Warren again takes aim at Obama and everyone else who has lost touch with reality. Here’s the quotable:

I think President Obama, like many others in both parties, talks about a set of big national statistics that look shiny and great but increasingly have giant blind spots. That GDP, unemployment, no longer reflect the lived experiences of most Americans. And the lived experiences of most Americans is that they are being left behind in this economy.

Worse than being left behind, they’re getting kicked in the teeth.

And she didn’t stop there:

I think left-right is less and less an accurate description of the political landscape. Now, having said that, I think there are real differences between the Republicans and the Democrats here in the United States. The Republicans have clearly thrown their lot in with the rich and the powerful, but so have a lot of Democrats. You know, it’s a question of walking the walk on working people, on fighting for working people. I think that was the real point.

You can read the rest of the interview here.

One thing seems virtually certain: if Donald Trump doesn’t end up delivering on his promise to be a champion of working people (which of course he won’t – witness his inner circle full of Goldman bankers), and if those same working people are still looking for someone to represent them in 2020, “Pocahontas” (as Trump is fond of calling Warren) will be a shoe-in.

Oh, and by the way, judging from her reaction at the tail-end of the following clip, there’s a good chance that Warren will slap the next person who calls her “Pocahontas” to her face.

  1. Warren has as much insight into the working world as she does about skinning buffalo. Obama at least shows some hustle, Warren has just been on welfare for 70 years

    1. So, Mr. Soccer ball. Why don’t you let us know what your analysis is? The musings of a guy that thinks “My daddy married his sister, did not affect me none”. Does not hold a lot of water here

  2. I absolutely believe Liz Warren has an extremely good chance of being the next President. I think she is very aware of what “the people” want and need. She is highly capable and qualified.

    1. Trump was highly aware of what the people want and need too. Warren is a useful idiot who will sell out to big government hard.
